Oral Scans & Digital Impressions
Oral Scans / Your Digital Impressions
We know what you’re thinking, how did dentures and “digital technology” ever get to be in the same sentence.
We know what you’re thinking, how did dentures and “digital technology” ever get to be in the same sentence. While dentures have always been made with very traditional processes that have stood the test of time, there have not been many advances in terms of technology around these processes to help meet customers needs. As a result this has presented limitations in terms of what we can do for patients around the length of time it takes to make a denture as well as the number of visits that are needed and also for example if you want a spare denture you have to go through all of the same stages as your first denture to get your spare denture. These present very big limitations when it comes to speed and time-saving. People have to wait weeks to get new dentures and they have to attend multiple visits with a lot of measurements and a lot of mouth opening in order to get the new dentures. Does this sound familiar?
The Future Of Dentures
After years of research and working with the best technology, software and equipment specialists from around the globe and using our 50 years of denture experience, we have introduced a new way of making dentures that improves the quality, improves the fit as well as being stronger and more durable material and best of all less appointments and much less time between starting and getting your new dentures.
And if that’s not enough it is also the first time ever that you can have a spare denture or duplicate copy denture at the click of a button.
Your digital impressions!
Let me know if this sounds familiar: At your dental visit your clinician is explaining something to you while they are also looking in your mouth so this makes it difficult for a conversation to take place, Right? Now we can take your digital impression and show this to you on a large screen and we can both have a chat together while looking at your mouth together on the screen.
Digital Impressions (also known as 3-D intraoral scanning) are the latest technology in capturing a replica of your mouth. By using a wand-like tool connected to a computer and advanced software, our team can create a virtual model of the hard and soft tissues in your mouth.
For your digital denture process, our team of experts use computer-aided design and engineering tools to design and craft a perfectly-fitting denture that is bespoke for you.
We then make your dentures using 3D Printing technology. It is super cool, very fast and the most reliable and quality driven process you will have ever come across.
Plus for the first time ever you can have a spare/duplicate denture at the click of a button.
We created an outstanding Digital Hub with the latest equipment to ensure you get the best results!
Our partners include:
Lucitone Digital Print 3D Denture Resin
The high-impact resin exceeds ISO standards for impact resistance, delivering outstanding durability and strength. Featuring a smart polymer technology, the body-activated material (BAM!) nearly doubles its ability to resist breakage when worn.
IPN 3D Digital Denture Teeth
IPN 3D Digital Denture Teeth provide a compelling combination of esthetics, function, and performance. The Interpenetrating Polymer Network (IPN) offers excellent abrasion resistance, color stability, and bond strength. The high-quality, long-lasting denture teeth are free of inorganic fillers. Designed for precision mounting, the unique position locator system enables plug-n-play assembly. Pre-configured and pre-occluded libraries offer quick design solutions for an efficient and reliable process.
Lucitone Digital Try-In 3D Trial Placement Resin
The trial placement of a resin prototype is an integral part of determining the esthetics, verifying records, and functional occlusion. The patient can test the fit during speaking and eating for a true assessment of accuracy. This monolithic material provides an important workflow step to verify design and function of dentures. Lucitone Digital Try-in 3D Placement Resin comes in six shades.
